WELCOME TO

TRACEYBELLINA.ART

A native New Orleanian and graduate of Louisiana State University, Tracey is an established graphic designer and marketing professional with over 20 years of experience. Tracey has worked with nonprofit and educational organizations in graphic design, publications, marketing, communications, and event production. She currently serves as the Director of Marketing & Communications for the Tulane University’s Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.

Tracey is a co-founder of The Clay Center of New Orleans, a nonprofit organization that serves to grow, support and elevate ceramic art and artists by bringing high-quality ceramic art education, facilities, outreach and professional opportunities to the city of New Orleans. She is also an original co-founder of San Fermin in Nueva Orleans, the wildly popular annual “Running of the Bulls” event that replaces the traditional bulls with rollergirls in horned helmets. When she’s not festing, parading, or running around town with her dogs, Tracey can be found in her home studio, crafting away for the next festival or parade.

EXPERIENCE

Tulane University

I began my employment with Tulane University Department of Marketing and Communications in 2007, left briefly after nine years, and returned in 2018. I have worked on just about every project imaginable during my time there—from the alumni magazine to athletic events.

Clay Center of New Orleans

The Clay Center was founded to increase the amount of ceramic art education, exhibition and professional opportunities available in New Orleans, as well as to address a lack of access to ceramic supplies, tools and facilities. Our goal is to offer the best ceramic art education, facilities and opportunities available in New Orleans outside of a college or university, and to expose the public to high-quality contemporary ceramic artwork and studio pottery through regular exhibitions.

Jesuit High School

Jesuit High School offered me a unique opportunity to really spread my wings as a graphic designer. The scope of the projects I worked on was wide, ranging from gymnasium wall graphics to magazines and logos to stage design.

The company is most famous for its annual “Running of the Bulls” festival featuring members of flat-track roller derby teams from across the globe playing the role of the “bulls.”
